Please see below some of our installation of heat pump projects:
This is one of our installations which is a MasterTherm 7-22kW ground source heat pump (GSHP) with a 400L hot water cylinder and a 300L Buffer heating vessel. The heat pump technology is inverter driven which means the output of the heat pump is variable based on demand from 7 to 22kW.
This is another system with a 12kW NIBE ground source heat pump (GSHP) on boreholes with a 400L hot water cylinder and a 300L Buffer heating vessel. This project had a small plant room due to the width restriction we designed a taller cylinder and buffer. Another project was to design a system to heat the house and hot water along with a swimming pool. There are 2 19.6kW Vaillant ground source heat pumps (GSHP) with a 2000L Buffer Heating Vessel which supplies the main house, the swimming pool and hot water.
Some of our projects are challenging regarding plant room size. We had to install all the equipment in a confined space. We installed a 22kW MasterTherm ground source heat pump (GSHP) in a new build which is a highly efficient dwelling.
In this project, we had to choose 2 different locations for the heat pump, buffer and cylinder. We installed a 12 kW NIBE ground source heat pump (GSHP) and buffer heating vessel in the utility room and a hot water cylinder in the store room. This is for a horizontal array to supply energy for a ground source heat pump (GSHP). This energy is taken from the ground as heat which acts as a source of heat to generate higher temperature within the heat pump. The ground array size depends on the peak demand of the building. This horizontal pipework can be designed to suit different landscapes.
